How Giftings is curated, where it's sourced from, and how it differs from our hand-made gold and silver pieces.
Giftings is the one part of our catalog we don't make ourselves — and we say that upfront, because the honesty is the point. Our gold and silver & gemstone pieces are hand-finished in-house. Giftings is curated and imported, sourced from ateliers in Turkey, Korea, and Shenzhen Shuibei — three regions known for different strengths in premium costume-and-zirconia work, and we pull from each depending on what a piece calls for.
Not every piece an atelier makes becomes a Giftings piece. We select for long-wearing plating, clean stone-setting, and designs that hold up next to our own hand-made collections rather than looking like a separate, lesser tier. Giftings exists for the pieces that don't need to be an heirloom — a statement piece for one event, a gift at a price point that doesn't require the commitment of gold, or simply more variety than a hand-finishing workshop could ever produce alone. It's the luxury-edition tier of our range: considered design and a premium finish, without precious-metal pricing.
Like anything with a plated finish, Giftings pieces aren't maintenance-free — avoid perfume, water and prolonged friction against other jewelry, and the finish holds for years rather than months. Full details are on our Size & Care Guide.
